Merlin is an extremely attractive parti-coloured red eyed variety with cream flesh. Has a long dormancy and expresses good resistance to powdery scab and potato virus Y.
Tolerance to potato cyst nematodes.
Also will tolerate heat and drought.
This variety has now been identified as a hot climate export variety tailored towards the Canary Islands, Mediterranean and Iberian markets.
